Feeling Rejected.....

This post is probably going to sound whinny or I guess you could call it a poor me post. Months ago I found out about a scholarship that would cover the cost of some classes I need in order to take the IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) exam. I debated for months about applying going back and forth about if it was a good thing for me to do at this time. I have been jelous of Nash going to school and learning and having recognition for all he does....Yes I know I do alot and how important being a mom is.... But, at the same time I crave the opportunity to improve myself. And with Nash going to school and money being tight I put everyone infront of myself. So I was hoping that this scholarship would give me the chance to meet some of my needs. I turned in my application 3 weeks ago and have been waiting to hear. I kept having dreams about it and I had one last night where a letter arrived and I had got it.

Well when I checked my email this morning there was a letter stating that I did not get it.... So I'm feeling a tad rejected, a tad disappointed, and a tad bit sad.

I know there is next year and I know there are lots of ways to meet the need to improve myself. But right now I just want to cry........

I understand wanting the opportunity to better yourself. Taking online classes is a wonderful opportunity to do so and be a mommy. ISU offers an array of different classes online. You should look into it :)

I am so sorry to hear that. I wish there was something I could do to get that letter changed....if you need to talk I am a phone call away. I don't have anything great to put here but I understand how hard things like this are.....
